DUBAI,— Dubai authorities announced the allocation of 4,631 residential land plots for Emirati citizens, valued at AED 5.3 billion, the Government of Dubai Media Office said in a statement.
The decision was approved by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The plots cover more than 71 million square feet across Al Eyas, Latifa City, and Mushrif areas. They are part of Dubai’s citizen housing program, designed to create integrated residential communities that provide sustainable living and high-quality amenities.
The allocation will be managed through the Emirati platform on the DubaiNow app in the coming week.
Sheikh Mohammed highlighted that providing housing for every Emirati family is central to Dubai’s urban development strategy.
He said the goal is to develop vibrant communities that put citizens at the heart of planning, supporting family stability and well-being.
Sheikh Mohammed said in the statement, “Today we approved the allocation of 4,631 residential plots valued at AED 5.3 billion, spanning over 71 million square feet in Al Eyas, Latifa City, and Mushrif areas. Dubai’s greatest capital is its people and their families. Emirati citizens will always be our top priority.”
He added that Dubai aims to become the world’s best city for family life, combining modern housing, advanced infrastructure, and integrated social services to meet citizens’ current and future needs.
“By offering every family a stable living environment, Dubai will continue to support cohesive communities where residents thrive,” Sheikh Mohammed said.
The largest allocation is in Al Eyas, with 2,540 plots covering 39 million square feet.
This community will include mosques, a neighborhood Majlis, retail centers, a school, an early childhood center, parks, and recreational areas.
A dedicated green path with cycling tracks will connect all neighborhoods.
Latifa City will receive 1,761 plots spanning 28 million square feet. Amenities will include mosques, parks, a Quran memorization center, a school, an early childhood center, retail facilities, and a neighborhood Majlis.
In Mushrif, 330 plots cover four million square feet. The area will feature two mosques, a family park, a retail center, and infrastructure to support community needs.
The Government of Dubai Media Office said the initiative reflects the city’s strategy to provide citizens with integrated, modern residential communities while prioritizing family life and long-term well-being.
