DUBAI,— The United Arab Emirates said its air defenses intercepted two drones launched from Iran on Sunday, according to the Defense Ministry, in the latest reported attack targeting the Gulf nation.
The UAE has reported attacks by Iran in recent days after nearly four weeks of calm following a ceasefire in the Iran war announced by the United States.
Iran denied carrying out operations against the UAE during recent days, but warned it would deliver a “crushing response” if any actions against Tehran were launched from the UAE.
The attacks led the UAE to move schools to remote classes last week. Authorities said classroom learning will restart Monday across the country after remote classes ended.
