DUBAI,—Flydubai said Monday it will add two daily flights to Bangkok starting Sept. 15, 2026, raising its total operations to Thailand to 28 weekly services.

In a statement, the Dubai based carrier said the new flights will depart from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport DXB and land at Don Mueang International Airport DMK.

The Bangkok route becomes the airline’s second point in Thailand alongside its existing service to Krabi.

The airline said the added flights support its efforts to grow links between Dubai and Southeast Asia.

Don Mueang International Airport, located north of central Bangkok, is one of two main international airports serving the Thai capital. The airport handles both business and leisure traffic and provides access to Bangkok and nearby provinces.

Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer at flydubai, said Thailand remains a strong market for the airline. He said the introduction of double daily flights to Bangkok reflects steady demand from across the carrier’s network. He added that the move aims to provide customers with more travel choices and flexibility.

Obaidalla said the flights will operate from Terminal 3 at Dubai International under a codeshare agreement with Emirates.

He said this arrangement enables passengers to connect through Dubai to destinations across the GCC, Europe and other regions through what he described as a major aviation hub.

Flydubai’s network now extends to more than 135 destinations. The airline said its expanding route map supports Dubai’s position as an international hub, offering one stop connections for passengers traveling between the GCC, Europe and other global markets.

Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at flydubai, said the carrier is expanding its footprint in Thailand with the new Bangkok service.

He said passengers traveling to the Thai capital can choose between Economy Class and Business Class.

The airline said it continues to invest in improving its onboard experience. Travelers in both cabins are offered reclining seats, a selection of meals based on international flavors and access to a range of entertainment through the airline’s inflight system.

The Bangkok service will be available under the flydubai and Emirates codeshare partnership.

The airline said the agreement allows passengers to book a single ticket for their journey, check in baggage to their final destination and use a combined network that covers more than 240 destinations worldwide.

Flights between Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 and Don Mueang International Airport will operate twice a day.

Return fares in Business Class from DXB to DMK start from AED 9,000 ($2,450). Economy Class Lite return fares start from AED 2,500 ($681).

On the return leg from DMK to DXB, Business Class fares begin at THB 64,000 and Economy Class Lite fares start at THB 22,000 ($708).
