ABU DHABI,— Mubadala Investment Company said on Thursday its assets under management climbed 17 percent to $385 billion in 2025, reflecting gains across its portfolio.

The Abu Dhabi-based fund said strong results from investments in the United Arab Emirates supported overall growth during the year.

Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, managing director and group CEO, said in a statement that Mubadala’s 2025 results highlight the effectiveness of its long-term plan to invest in major growth sectors in the UAE and international markets.

He said the strategy and consistent portfolio performance over five- and 10-year periods leave the fund resilient and positioned to manage current regional and global economic challenges.

The company reported annualized returns above 10 percent over both five and 10 years. Capital deployment increased 20 percent year on year to 143 billion dirhams, while proceeds rose 27 percent to 138 billion dirhams, the statement said.

Mubadala operates alongside Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and L’Imad Holding as part of the emirate’s push to diversify its economy away from hydrocarbons.

The fund maintains a large domestic portfolio while continuing global investments, with nearly one quarter of assets allocated within the UAE.

Investments in the United States accounted for 44 percent of the portfolio last year, the largest regional share.

Mubadala said it is focusing on sectors such as artificial intelligence and robotics, identifying them as key drivers of industrial growth and future investment direction.

The fund has expanded its technology holdings in recent years, including stakes in semiconductors, data centers and AI infrastructure companies.

It also recently increased its shareholding in Aldar Properties, Abu Dhabi’s largest real estate developer.

By asset class, private investments represented 42 percent of the portfolio, public investments 20 percent, and real estate and infrastructure 17 percent in 2025.
