DUBAI,— A Thai mother says she was asleep on a FlyDubai flight when she woke to find a Pakistani passenger Raza Ali, 30, in the next seat allegedly molesting her, according to the reports.

Beaut Pimpaporn, 33, was on her way back to Bangkok after visiting Milan, connecting through Dubai on flight FZ-1583, a six-hour trip, the Bangkok Post reported.

Her four-year-old daughter was asleep on her lap, and Pimpaporn herself had taken sleeping pills for the journey.

She woke on August 3, 2026 to find the man next to her allegedly gripping her backside and touching himself, the outlet reported. She said she discovered semen on her upper right thigh afterward.

According to Pimpaporn, who shared her story on Facebook, the man withdrew his hand quickly, hid it under his jacket, and acted as though he were adjusting her entertainment screen while stealing glances at her.

Pimpaporn stayed quiet through the rest of the flight, worried that speaking up mid-air could set off panic among other passengers.

Only after the aircraft reached Don Mueang International Airport did she bring the matter to the crew’s attention. One attendant then examined her pants, found the stain, and documented it with a photograph.

The man, identified as a Pakistani national, Raza Ali, 30, later confessed to the contact, the report said.

Pimpaporn filed a report with police and agreed to be identified publicly. She said she hoped doing so would encourage other women to recognize the dangers of flying solo and to speak up if they are attacked.

She recalled that much of the exchange between the man and the attendant happened in Arabic, which she could not fully understand.

Still, she said the attendant asked him point blank if he had done what she described. He denied it initially before admitting the truth.

“After that, he came to me, cried, knelt down and begged for forgiveness,” she said.

“He kept saying he was sorry and that he would not do it again.” She said the attendant refused to let the matter drop, insisting it was serious enough to involve police.

Several of the man’s companions also approached her, asking her to forgive him and let him go, she said.

The attendant asked those not directly involved to step away, telling them the situation was now a police issue. Pimpaporn later found out the man had been traveling with a Pakistani tour group of roughly four or five people, possibly more.

She said her daughter was quickly taken from the area by the captain so she would not see what unfolded.

Officers from tourist police and immigration pulled the man off the aircraft and brought him to the station. Police Lieutenant Colonel Chamnanyut Konkong, of the Don Mueang district station, said authorities would try to mediate between the two sides.

He confirmed the man had been barred from entering Thailand and said Pimpaporn was set to be interviewed the next morning.

Pimpaporn said she handed over the clothes, with the semen, she wore that day as evidence and intended to file charges and seek damages.

She said her goal was to shed light on the dangers solo female travelers can face.

“Passengers are often sleeping during long flights, and women traveling alone can be vulnerable,” she said, adding that the assault happened even though her child was with her.

“I cannot imagine what could happen to someone traveling alone who is too afraid to speak up.”

She urged other women not to feel ashamed and to report any situation that feels wrong.

According to her, the reason for telling her story was to warn others and reduce the chances of them suffering a similar experience.

In an August 5, 2026 update, Pimpaporn said Tourist Police confirmed the man had been sentenced to three years in prison and fined 120,000 baht ($3,650), and that he would also face a ban on re-entering the country, the Bangkok Post reported.

Separately,, an Indian engineer with a background in biotechnology avoided a prison sentence after admitting he masturbated next to an Australian mother and her young child during an Emirates flight to the United Kingdom.
