DUBAI,— A construction deal worth nearly AED 1.1 billion has been signed between Dubai Properties and Metac General Contracting Co. LLC to build 850 townhouses inside the Villanova master community in Dubailand, the Government of Dubai media office announced Tuesday.
Metac will handle two phases of La Tilia, a residential project within Villanova. The work includes 500 three-bedroom homes and 350 four-bedroom homes.
The first phase covers 410 units and the second covers the remaining 440.
Villanova has grown steadily since it opened, completing 3,834 homes to date. The community targets mid-market and upper mid-market buyers looking for suburban living with parks, road connections and nearby services.
Dubai Holding Real Estate Chief Executive Khalid Al Malik said buyers continue to seek family-centered neighborhoods in Dubai.
He told the media office that Villanova’s track record of strong sales guided the decision to push forward with La Tilia, adding that the company stays focused on delivering homes that meet customer expectations through reliable construction partnerships.
La Tilia carries a Mediterranean design character consistent with Villanova’s broader identity. Planned features include tree-lined walkable streets, cycling paths, parks and neighborhood retail within the larger development.
Metac General Manager Muhammad Sadiq Abdullah said his company is honored to take on the project.
He confirmed that finishing on schedule with high construction quality remains the firm’s top goal as Villanova grows.
Situated in Dubailand near major road arteries, Villanova brings together housing, schools, shopping and leisure in one planned neighborhood built around family needs.
